Most Telebridge commands can be toggled on and of; that is, you press the command once to turn the feature on, and again to turn it off. For example, a guest may self mute by pressing *6 (star then 6), then unmute by pressing *6 again.
Please note that, unless the call is already in lecture mode, pressing any number on your touchtone keypad will create audible beeps for other callers. If your phone has a mute button and volume control, use these instead of your keypad.
Volume - Pressing *4 (star then 4) will increase the volume one notch. Pressing *4 again will return the volume to its original level.
Lecture - When the host presses *5 (star then 5), the teleconference will be placed in "lecture mode." This means that only the host(s) can be heard. When the host is ready for guest comments or questions, he or she can press *5 again to end lecture mode. This is a useful strategy for reducing background noise coming from guests on the call.
Self Mute - Guests may press *6 (star then 6) to mute themselves, and *6 again to unmute themselves.
Count - Pressing *8 will privately inform the Host of the current number of call participants.
Additional Features
Auto Hang-up – This will automatically disconnect all participants from the Conference once the last Host hangs up. Make sure that at least one Host stays on the line until the end of the call.
Entry Tones - There are no entry tones on 200-person Hourly Telebridges.
